Today is public holiday, Wesak Day. Went to Tao
or "道" @ Padungan. "Tao" means "road" or "way" in Chinese. There's other menaing too but I interprete it as these. Always passed by and always said want to go there but always didn't have the chance. Today is the day. Many bloggers had reviewed about this place except me.
The interior, the same designer as bing! Lots of buddha statues and images. According to many people, it's Zen overkill. I happened to be in the front section, there are much more interesting stuffs at the back section for smokers even has a water fountain!! Will cover the back section next time.
It happened that I know the owner, I talked to her before. She's the same owner of Asiana Homes that specialised in furnitures and decor items from Bali. This is a lifestyle cafe and gallery . She's none other than Irene Manyin. :) We have the same name. I remembered when I called her for an appointment regarding her furniture shop, I said,"Hello Irene. I'm Irene." Then when I met her, she told me that she had an appointment with another Irene before me. Interesting huh?

Left: The beam above the entrance. If you had noticed, I don't have the picture of the infamous buddha hand as the door handle. So what's wrong with if I don't have it? :P Coz the picture is too blur. Can't be seen at all. So skip that. It was raining so heavily, bad for taking photo with a compact camera.

Chocolate Heaven (RM11), it's actually ice blended chocolate... it's so the very sweet and thick. Not really to my liking. However the portion is bigger than bing!

The price range of the food and beverages here are the standard of bing! Pretty high end cafe. Will bankrupt if always go there. I'm a bit apprehensive on spending too much on food these days. Poor :(
