SUCH A PITY... [ ] - 3.7.2006 Monday

What do you think of this scene? FYI, it's all the stray dogs at my area. Before we go into details, here's something that you might be abled to give a hand in:

It's all about dogs today. This is because I wanted to send my bro to school and a very small dog(see photo)

was sleeping underneath our car. No matter how I coaxed it, it didn't want to come out instead shivered with fear. It didn't want to moved out of the car. It retreated, and sat down again. Then after lots of coaxing, it still wanted to stay under the car. I started the engine, thought that it would come out but it walked a few steps futher again and sat there, it's still under the car. I really have no way to get it out of there. No! I'm not going ot pull it out, it's very dirty and there's no place for me to wash my hand, you don't expect me to drive after that.

Then, my bro came out of the car and saw a cardboard on the floor and he used it to push it away but it still didn't budge. Then he threw the cardboard to it, finally it came out. Sigh... It's a pity but I can't do much, taking care of myself is already a chore, how am I going to take care of a dog? Also I have no place for it. It's pretty skinny for a dog its age... looking into its eyes, it looked sad and with fear. It makes my eyes wet just thinking of it. The older stray dogs did entertain and take care of it. They let it play with them and follow them.

When I took this photo, the three dogs were sleeping under our car. At first I used zoom coz I'm afraid that those big dogs might attack me. Then, my mom asked me to go closer. I went so close to the big dog to take the picture of the small dog. Phew... at least those big dogs know me, they know I won't harm them. They always sleep under our car and would move away when we opened the door. The big dogs woke up, looked at me, yawned and went back to sleep. Wow... animal instinct huh? They sometimes helped me reserved my parking place. Cool... When other cars wanted to park at my spot, they didn't move but when I reached there, they would move away and let me park the car. Well... I guess maybe because our car is higher and it's good place for them to rest unlike other cars. Pretty smart huh? Good thing, they never peed on this car tyre but did pee at another two cars of ours.

Those staying here especially the Chinese are quite concern with these dogs, we always give them our leftovers. One my my neighbours, she's so kind that even prepare food specially for them and feed them personally, one by one rathter than put the food there and let them fight over the food. However, it's sad that most non-Chinese here hate those dogs so much and sometimes hit them with sticks or throw stones or provoke them. Very sad :-(

Comparing the stray dogs and the stray cats at my place, the dogs are pretty discipline, they don't simply pee, at least don't simply do their big business, instead they did it at the grass but the cats... sigh... it's a nuisance, they always do their business anywhere they like, on the floor, sneaked into our office and do their business inside too. Besides that, kept running or playing on top of our roof!!! Freaking annoying.

The good thing about having strays at my area is that there will be no crimes happening. I remembered that there were a few times where cars got broken into or shops got broken into on the night or few nights later after all the strays were caught by the council. The bad thing is that, it's sad to see so many strays.

That's all about strays. Here are some dogs from Perth, Australia. Eheheh... these dogs are so lucky to have such a good owner like Luc :P Luc, my reader for years, provided me with these photos of his dog(Diesel), his temporary adopted dog(Storm) and his mom's dog(don't know what's the name).

Introducing Diesel! Very lucky dog, even have his bed in Luc's office, in his car and in his house. Even have personal soft toys :P See the photo, noticed the elephant in the first picture on the right? Heheheh... He's damn good in posing.

Here... another dog that temporarily stayed with him because the owner, an old lady couldn't take care of it because it's very mischievous and kept running away. So he took care of it temporarily while looking for a new owner. The two dogs were so comfy in his office.

Here... the latest photos of Diesel and his new friend, Luc's mom's dog. Very cute huh? Hey! They are really good in posing for photos!!

Enough of of doggie post hehehe... they are so adorable but don't ask me to take care of them, I don't know how ;-p LOL... However, I hate to see them suffer. Do take good care of your dog with you have them. They are such a darling. :-)
