Hehehe... my mom forgot to cook so we went out for dinner. We went to Taiwan Siao Jou, situated next to Hong Kong Noodle House at Padungan. Wow... it's packed, I mean this shop, not the noodle house. It seemed like their business didn't get affected by the big noodle house next to them. Not bad... This is my second time here. The first time was last year if not mistaken.

Left: Fast food. They have fast food there, you pick the dish and they sent over and it's charge by per dish. It's served with a bowl of plain white rice. I'm not sure how much.
Right: (L-R)Ice Blackcurrent Tea (RM1.50), Lime juice(RM1.50)-:-( it tasted bad, Hot Soya Bean(RM1.50)-:-) thick and nice .

Left: Noodle Soup(RM2.50), tasteless but not oily.
Right: Fish and Meat Ball Tanghoon soup(RM3.50)

Left: Batu Kawa Meat Ball Noodle(RM3.50)? Hmmm... the meat ball from Batu Kawa? LOL...
Right: Vegetable Noodle(RM1.50), very cheap huh?
The verdict... it has not much selections. Price wise, it's affordable. Taste wise, nothing special mostly were quite tasteless for the noodles and all the noodle dish uses the same noodle, they just changed the toppings. As for the fast food, it tasted ok(I think... coz I didn't eat any) since I saw almost every table having fastfood.
Really I don't understand why so many eat here even though the food isn't that special? By the way, it's a Grade A eatery. You can see the grading on the wall which means it's a clean place to dine. Our council has this grading system starting this year if not mistaken. They will grade the eatery, so if the place is dirty, they will get grades like B, C or D, not sure not E or not. So if you happened to see other grades besides A in a place, then eat at your own risk :-P |
