SEOUL GARDEN [ ] - 29.7.2006 Saturday

No food related post for a long long time huh? This is because I have no camera and I didn't eat anything special these days. I went to Seoul Garden at 3rd mile for dinner with hmmm... friends... Ummm... not really friends, I don't really know them, they're Jimmy's and Pinky's net friends. I just went there for the sake of the food.

Haven't been there for ages... heard that it's bigger now. Indeed, it's bigger now, with air-conditioned section but the upstair was closed... maybe it's only for special booking. They have Korean BBQ now too or to be exact, grill.

Left: They have new name for their shop name. I mean the Chinese name, the English name is still the same. It's easy to change the Chinese name becuase it's not registered. We do not register Chinese Name for our buisness in Malaysia.

Left: The grill I mentioned. It's from Korea, most of the stuff they used are from Korea. This is an electrical grill.
Right: Korean food, kimchi is a must!! Yummy...

Left: Mashed potato. Tasted pretty good.
Middle: I'm not sure what kind of veggie this is. It's very crunchy.
Right: Bean. Hmm... black bean I think. It tasted sweet and salty.

I'm not the one decided what to order. At first we thought of grill but then since most of them never had Korean food before and not sure how to order, so they recommended us to ordered 2 set meals for 8 persons. We have 9 people, just right for us, we can share the two sets, each set is for 4-5 persons. I forgot how much, I think it's between RM64-68 for each set. I'm not sure about the names too since I'm not the one ordering and forgot to take pictures of the menu.

Guess which one is spicy? I'm sure you will say, it's the left. NO! WRONG!! Hehehehe.. it's the right picture. It's kimchi beef soup if not mistaken. The left soup is... I don't know... lots of lemon grass in there but with not a tinge of spiciness.

Meats on hot plate. Heheheh... I don't know the names. Left is beef and right is chicken.

Left: I really don't know what is this. Its' sweet. Could be chicken meat.
Right: Don't know the correct name for it, it's mixed rice in hot "bowl" :P

Here's the rice, not the same rice but it looked like this too except the ingredients are different.

That's all. Overall... it cost us RM140++ (food + drinks) for 9 people. I only remember we paid RM15 for the meal per person. Everytime post Korean food, there will sure be lots of photos because they haev many side dishes!! Thats' what I love about it besides the kimchi.
