JUST SOME PHOTOS OF KUCHING... [ ] - 17.10.2006 Tuesday

Nothing much to update. So just post up some photos of Kuching that I took few months back. It's the area where the National Celebration of Malaysia's 49th Anniversary held way back in August, 31st.

Left: The Golden Triangle Area. Let me tell you, Kuchingites are such a lazy bunch heheheh.. I mean pay back :P . I took this photo from Sarawak Plaza. See the taller building in blue glass? That's Crowne Plaza, one of the hotels in Kuching. My point is to tell you that Sarawak Plaza and Crowne Plaza is just a few roads away. You only need to spend less than 10 minutes or less to reach there and it's less than 1km. However, majority would rather drive there!! Driving there require you to go almost one big round then have to find parking space summore. This will take even longer time than walking! Hehehe... Actually I do that myself too. We are having such a good life :P

Right: St. Thomas Church, it's an Anglican church. The first church in Kuching.

Here's the area where the National Day Parade kicked off. The field you see is called Padang Merdeka. There's a hotel opposite it, Merdeka Palace (1)(2), this photo was taken from the top of Merdeka Palace. Next to the hotel is Sarawak Museum. St Thomas church is just opposite the road.

Don't know what else to update for the next few days. Hmm... We'll see... Just goes as the flow...
