Melaka Trip (6-7 Sept 2013) – Part 4

October 31st, 2013 · 2 Surrendered

This trip sure take a long time to complete *LOL*

The view from St. Paul’s Hill. Can you see a ship there? It’s a replica of Portuguese ship called Flora de la Mar that which sank in the coast of Melaka while on its way to Portugal. This is The Maritime Museum (Jalan Quayside, 75000 Melaka) of Melaka. Didn’t go there though…

St. Paul’s Church is a historic church building in Melaka.

It’s a very sacred place, there’s many tombstones in there. A bit spooky I must say. It was originally built in 1521.

The famous A-Famosa is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia.

Some old transportation near A Famosa. These are the very first train, fire engine, and plane of the country.

Left: Another transportation commonly found in West Malaysia long time ago. Should be able to see them in the village nowadays too. I don’t think we have such thing in Sarawak.

Right: Not so sure of this building but it’s also painted in the distinctive red that you can find in the area. There’s a small gate that allow you to go up to St Paul’s Hill.

Another river view.

Jambatan Tan Kim Seng.

After so much of walking, it’s more walking again, Jonker Street Night Market it is! It will be in next post.

Yes, you are right. The ICT Expo or any oversea properties expos are just here to unload obsoleted craps and unsellable properties. If there are good property deals from UK,US or Australia you cannot find them in these Expo.
