New Feature – PPP Direct

May 25th, 2007 · 3 Surrendered

Blog marketing is better than word of mouth marketing.

See my sidebar or not? I just added in the new PPP feature yesterday. It’s called PPP Direct. I’ll be writing a post for USD10 but I think it’s a bit too low. Hmm… Should I increase it or not? After 10% deduction, I’ll be left with USD9, *LOL* Only USD1 deduction, nearly 5% of the 10% is for PayPal and Credit Card Fees. Not so bad after all.

I’m sure you heard of other competitors too. They let you state the price/assign a price range for you and when you are given a task, they will deduct a lot from your stated price and left you with small amount of money after the deduction. If I’m not mistaken, they charge between 35-100% markup on each and every one of our post. I did apply to join these two programs but too bad they had rejected me. So I couldn’t care less because PPP accepted me and they pay much better than them.

Imagine if I’m accepted to all three of them and I post my badges on my sidebar. Let’s say all 3 of them are USD10, then after writing a paid post, which one will have more money left after the deduction? Of course is PPP. I will increase mine later when I’m free, from USD10 to USD20 per post which means after the deduction I still have USD18.

PPP Direct allows you to negotiate with advertisers on the terms of the content. There is no way I want to accept USD20 for 300-400 words+images+multiple links, it’s too much works to be done. So I can directly deal with them, to make sure I’m being paid enough for what I’m doing.

PPP Direct allows advertisers to use their credit cards and do not need to go through the painful PayPal process. They can also access their existing PPP account balance to easily make purchases. The widget is so easy to use to entire process fast and easy for both parties especially for the advertisers.

By the way, PPP is building a directory of PPP Direct bloggers and will be promoting those that have adopted the technology in the meantime. PPP Direct will ultimately mean more Opps for quality bloggers.
